Looking at that machine i keep thinking it would be some type of boating game with that wheel maybe cause of the style of the wheel.
It's a good idea although i'm not sure about the washing cycle stopping based on the game.
I could see this being a steampunk version the wheel turns the drum and the buttons are plungers that push the water and soap into the drum it would be quite fun actually
I like the concept and love the actual cabinet it be perfect for someone in a small apartment as this would disguise the washing machine easily.
The Super washup looks pretty cool too that was posted in the comments

I always wished I could do something other than stand there staring at the machine while it washed. You know, cuz it's not like I can walk away and do something else...
:laugh2:

I always liked the video game urinals... at least with those they take your pee no matter how well you are doing. ;)
The problem with combining a household appliance with a video game is the fact that there aren't a lot of appliances that don't already play video games. Your phone? Yup. Tv? Yup. Computer? Yup. The ones that are left are either dangerous (disposal, microwave, stove) or impractical (fridge, ac, heat, ect).
About the only thing I can think of would be in a commercial application. A pop machine with a built in video game. If you do well enough, you get your change back. Maybe a nice game of ice-climber. ;) I think they already have those in japan though.

It's pretty much how my laundry night goes already since the games are 15ft away from the washer and dryer.
(I have to travel another 20ft to get to the beer tap)
