Title: Add a Resolution? (1600x1200?)
Post by: Necro on September 27, 2011, 12:06:51 pm
Anyone know of a way to either add or hack a theme to be in a different resolution then the standards provided by maximus?  Currently, only 1024x768 is provided as a 4:3 aspect ration resolution and my monitor can go up to 1600x1200.  I'd like to get the resolution higher so I can use some of the nice effects in the current versions of make without things looking like crap, if possible, and to have the HD versions of Daphne games actually be in..HD. :)

The following don't seem to work:
- Just forcing an overall change in res in the MA config.  (Throws a ton of errors)
- Scaling the program - it just displays in the middle of the higher resolution and doesn't scale out.

Did you ever find a solution for this?  I've run into the same problem.

Probably have to make the resolution from scratch if it does not exist,

The only way to do it that I can figure out is to manually modify EVERY value in a theme to adjust it to the target resolution.  I can see someone making a program to do this - it should be a simple scaling thing - but I don't have the time to pull something together myself.
