Sorry there isnt a hardware forum I didnt know where else to put this. Does anybody have a diagram of how to hook up the (happs)trackball with the ipac. I already have the ipac and I get my trackball the 15th but I have know Idea on how to wire it. If its as easy as the Ipac4 to hook up I will have no probs but for some reason I dont think its going to be that easy or self explainitory. Thanks

I'm pobably not going to be much help, but you'll need an OPTIPAC not an IPAC to hook up a trackball... IPAC = Keyboard, OPTIPAC = Mouse.

Optipac is easy to wire:

The Ultimarc wiring instructions were wrong for my Happ trackball. Why on earth did they go with something like wire color to label the signals, instead of going with the pinout of the plug? The pinout of the plug is what is standard, not the wire colors. Those might even change monthly, if Happ got better deals on different spools of wire at different times.
Anyway, when I followed the Ultimarc instructions and hooked mine up, it was completely wrong. Some guesswork and swapping pins eventually fixed it. Be back in a bit with a list...
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot my wires are all wire-tied and bundled together... it's a bit tough to trace. But if you still don't have it working, then let me know and I'll get out the voltmeter.
