I’ve been working on this one for about a month or so on and off. Figured it was time to share with everyone.
It’s a “mini” cocktail machine :D I know how much everyone loves ‘um.
Anyways quick build specs - used ½ inch beech plywood for everything, PC is a repurposed Acer Aspire One (N450 Atom, 2GB ram, 160GB HD, 10.1 LCD), Xin-mo usb controller, Happ Ultimate sticks and Happ buttons.
I’m between jobs at the moment so I thought this would be a fun project and maybe make some cash selling it when its done, if I can part with it lol.
Now for part you’ve been waiting for - Pictures! :applaud:
I’m not one to take build pics as I’m going but I did snap a few. First few are of 3D Renders in SolidWorks .
Enjoy!

Another mini cabinet!
Very nice work so far. The buttons are extremely close to the right side, didn't you have room to have them a bit more to the left? What joystick did you use? With such a small cabinet and low weight, I would suggest going with either a Sanwa JLF or a Seimitsu LS-32/LS-33 for both space and joystick force.

Thanks! Due to low build budget I had to "borrow" parts from my full size machine for this one. I used old Happ Ultimates as you can see in the pic below theres zero room left over. Next build I plan on using better sticks and smaller buttons and also angling the control panel a bit.

Very cute, i always wonder about the little ones, can they stand abuse on the sticks and buttons on the long run.

And I thought it was cramped underneath the control panel of my MVS-99-6 cabinet.

Then again I'm not finished, and that's a Sanwa JLF and four 24mm buttons you see there, with 20mm buttons at the top (well, the bottom if you look at the photo). ;D
I don't see any information about which display you're going to use. Is it 4:3/5:4 or 16:9/16:10? What size, model, etc. Viewing angles, especially, are critical for a cocktail cabinet.

Hate to use this word but it is CUTE. Looking forward to completion. :D

Any progress? :D
I'm considering doing a mini Bubble Bobble cabinet. I guess I'll just use a sticker for art and marquee (it's only going to be 25cm wide), and use a 8" touch screen I have laying around.
Btw; Anyone have pictures/art from the original cabinet? :)
