What tool is used to cut for a t-mold?
Thanks,
Mark

Router with a 1/16" slot cutting bit.

To be more exact (in case you don't know what to buy or where to get it)
- 1/16" Three Wing Slot Cutter -
http://freud-tools.com/freud56threw.html (item # : 56-100)
- 1/2" Shank Slot Cutting Arbor -
http://freud-tools.com/freud60slotc3.html (item # : 60-122)
... and of course you need a router that accepts a 1/2" shank ... and you'll be ready to start cutting those slots for your T-Molding ;D
Hope that helps ya

are there any bits for a 1/4" shank? I found a good deal on a 1/4" router at Home Depot and was gonna get that, but not if I can't use it for the main reason I'm buying it for.

I got mine from MLCS Woodworking (http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/bt_slot.html#Anchor%20slotct3w). $16 for the whole assembly, and it works like s champ.

will any of these work? These are from home depot. I was also looking at the router add on for the dremel since I currently own a dremel and not a router. Any ideas and thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think any of those are what you're looking for. You need a slot cutting bit. Take a look at some of the links posted above. They got pictures and everything.
When I was in Lowes the other day I saw one but I don't know if they had the right size. I haven't looked at Home Depot. Neither one lists it on their website (both their websites suck IMO).
I can't say I've tried the Dremel but it seems like a lot of work with that little tool. I would think it might be difficult to keep it flat on the surface while cutting.
