Title: Ignore user option?
Post by: Well Fed Games on September 17, 2011, 05:38:59 pm
So, on some other forums I check (such as cheapassgamer.com, where it is very much needed) there is an "ignore user" option where you can keep any posts from a particular member from showing in the future. My responses to people I disagree with are getting deleted (is calling someone "uppity" really so bad?), so is there a forum option that allows me to just ignore a certain poster? I would be less tempted to respond to certain folks if I didn't have to read their comments. Not sure if it is possible with our forum software, but maybe something to consider if it is.  :dunno

Not that, you know, there is anyone in particular I would want to ignore (cough http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=114589.msg1215765#msg1215765 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=114589.msg1215765#msg1215765) cough).

I think if you go to your profile, personal message options and add the user there it also stops you from seeing any of their posts.
