Greets all....
...I had posted a thread a few weeks ago about how I was bummed that my cab was totally done.....any hoo, it generated a lot of conversation from you guys about what I should do next.....
Well, I've bit the bullet and I'm tossing out some small pieces of furniture to make room for cabbie number 2#.
ANNOUNCING :o :o
CONEY ISLAND MAME COCKTAIL!
I'll post pics on progress soon.....as so far I'm still gathering materials.
I ordered a cocktail kit from Arcade Depot and I'm using an XArcade (yes...I really do like it!) as the controller w/an Oscar spinner that I will integrate into it.
Thanks for all of the encouragement!.....whoo hoo! Vertical gaming goodness here I come!

Good for you, can't wait to see the pics.
And if I could, I'd throw out all the furniture in my place and just replace it all with MAME machines. Who needs to entertain when I could just entertain myself. ;)

Sounds like a great project. You just can't keep a good builder down. Keep us posted. I love to see construction pics.

Thank you guys!
Last night I received my XArcade Solo and put in the Oscar Spinner....which went a lot easier that I had anticipated. There's actually just enough room to make it fit (barely....but it fits).
I'll post pics soon.

;) GREETS ALL.
Attached below are two pics of my "modded" XArcade Solo with an integrated Model 3 Oscar Spinner.
It literally just barely fit; but it did indeed fit as Kelsey at Oscar Controls said it would.
I'll have a bigger update very soon!

Whoo Hoo!....the bulk of my ordered items have arrived!
I just got the cab kit (cocktail kit); my Galaxian underlay (for under the glass...it's a repro. of the original), my monitor bezel, my happ coin door and a FREE Sony Trinitron 19" monitor from my office....and yes, they let me have it, it was pretty old but still works great!...and a few other goodies.
I should be able to post some pics by early next week of everything laid out before I begin building.....hooray!
