Just as the title says, I'd like to see if anyone wants to get rid of their Epson Printer, cheap. I can do without the extra ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- like the scanner such as the All-In-One printers like the CX4200. But if it's super cheap, (or free ;) ) I wouldn't care if it's growing horns and belonged to Satan as long as it's functioning.
I know it's a long shot but I'm giving this forum a try.
Craigslist reveals ridiculously priced printers (You want $100 for a parallel port printer? Are you out of your mind?) or they get snatched up so fast :dizzy:, I never seem to snag one. Or worse, they're misidentified (Ad says two Epson Printers but the pics clearly show HP's ::) ).
eBay is better but shipping is usually murder and I don't like to support eBay if possible.

Try your local goodwill or other thrift store for cheap printers. Usually around $10. A better deal can sometimes be found at Walmart where I have seen new printers for $30 or less and they have ink cartridges. The ones from the thrift store are usually without any cartridges so it is hard to tell if it is working.
New old stock printers are sold very cheaply and many come with starter cartridges and a warranty.

Yeah been on the watch but....
The local walmarts here sell HP and some other brand I can't recall off the top of my head, not Epson.
Been watching the thrift stores, but haven't located an Epson. Found every other brand, just not Epson. Puzzling really. Epsons are sold new bit the 2nd hand market appears comparatively tiny. Since I can only hit the thrifts on the weekends, its more likely they're getting snatched up by bargain hunters during the week.
Oh, and the warranty is only going to last as long as it takes to get it to my house. >:D

Check out Target. I bought a cheap scanner/printer (NX100) for $20-30 on sale a couple years ago. It works good for my home use and occasionally black and white printing. I also got a refillable printer ink cartridge on ebay and it has lasted me a while.

Oooh Target? Forgot about them. I'll look into that.
