Title: BYOAC hats /Pixelhugger?

Anybody who ordered a hat and paid for it heard from Mitch/Pixelhugger?

Sent him an email to confirm payment last Sunday, sent him an email the other day to check back with him on shipping status, haven't heard a thing.......

I check my mailbox everyday =)

I'm sure it's coming (even though I haven't heard anything), I'm guessing that when suddenly faced with the logistics  of filling say 100 hat orders in your spare time when probably not already equipped/set up to fulfill orders the first few take a bit longer till you get a system/groove going.   Failing that I'd assume real life issues were delaying shipment.

That's just my guess/inference as I patiently wait for my new hat.

Pixelhugger: hope it doesn't sound rude or impatient, but out of inane curiousity and an addiction to tracking things (wait, I need to go shift refresh a ups tracking page, brb....





...ok back )  was wondering how it's going?

i e-mailed him yesterday about the status as well. he replied last night.

"You're OK. I'm *still* waiting on the embroiderer. Rest assured I will email you the day the hat ships - and the package should fit inside the mailbox ;)

To update you, the fronts of all the hats have been stitched. I have been tweaking colors and adjusting things so much I ran the finishing into a week the embroiderer is unavailable, so stitching will finish this SAT.

I have to apologize again for pushing the schedule back, I'm truly sorry! Currently the hats will ship to me this coming MON. I should have them mid/late week and will send them out immediately. So you may get them by that SAT.

I'll keep you posted.

he replies to my emails as well....

since he's not doing this for a living, and not doing this to make $$.... I think he's alerady trying his best....

give him some extra time....  ;) ;)

he told me he'll send emails when he start mailing the hats....

I can't wait to get mine - and he can take his time that's cool by me.  I know how free-time can suddenly go out the window at a moment's notice...and doing something like this probably sucks every last drop of freetime he has.

I got the navy with yellow stitching (I think), what did you guys get?  - wondering what is the most popular...I went with navy cause I have waaay too many khaki hats...

I ordered:

HAT STYLE:  #1  (Can't remember what #1 was, but it must have been cool.   ;) )
HAT COLOR:  Khaki/Sage
TEXT COLOR:  Yellow

I'm looking forward to wearing it to the auction in Mesquite next time I make it to one.
