My final touches to what I previously called my easy-peasy tasteful jukebox. I am very happy to have this in my living room. I also still find DWJukebox (previosly DOSCab/WINCab) the best jukebox software there is out there for anyone that grew up dropping change into electro-mechanical jukeboxes. It was worth the effort to learn all I could about skinning the program to develop my PhotoSkin. A change to the photos and the whole theme can change in an instant. But I think I will be sticking with the Sinatra or a Rat Pack theme for quite a while.
A 5 minute video, but it shows off the software;s capabilities pretty well.

Good demo and good combination of keypad and touchscreen. Now that I'm "under control" on the mame rig and the pinball machine, I'm going to be working on some jukebox software soon. very nice skin and setup.

DWJukebox doesn't support touchscreen operation except under DOS and under Windows XP. Thus the keypad. But as I've used this software over the years, I'm happy with using the USB keypad because that really still comes closer to the operation of an old jukebox than a touchscreen does.
It's kind of funny, but I managed to get the coin slot on the screen to kind of work by telling it to look in the wrong place for the touch. Like 500 pixels off the screen to the upper right. It doesn't detect the press 100% of the time, but it does often enough to make it worth leaving in. Of course, Simple FE works great, so I use the PC for a few other touchscreen supported apps or things that don't take a lot of input. I do have a compact keyboard hidden behind the All-In-One PC for doing anything involving file copying and such.

I added Microsoft Pinball to my hi-fi. I pretty much only play "Slick Chick" and "Spirit of 76" because I grew up with machines like those.
I will never ever understand why they incorporated every sound so well but left off the awesome "KNOCK!" sound when you match for a free game. They did incorporate the free game matching, but what fun is that if you don't hear the sound that pulls you back to the table when you think you've played your last game? :)
