Title: How do I size photo of CP to create a template?
Post by: Cougar888 on August 27, 2011, 07:53:34 am
Hi guys,

Could anyone help me out by telling me how to size up a photo in photoshop so I can create my CP artwork please. I have taken photos of the CP and have measurements but I don't know how to create an actual size template from the photo.

Thanks

Create a new document and specify the size in inches, with a high dpi like 300. (Pic below). Then paste the picture of the CP into that document, using transform (ctrl-T) and holding shift until it fills the document. Be sure to measure everything (measure tool, to find it hold and click on eyedropper) to make sure it matches up with real-world measurements (button holes, etc.).

That is, if I understand what you are trying to do correctly.

Yes, it has options for in, mm, pixels, etc. among others. Have fun!
