Title: Bar top software?
Post by: Lilwolf on August 26, 2011, 08:36:08 pm
A friend of mine wants a bartop arcade.  I didn't think any of those machines are emulated yet (am I write?).  Is there any good pc games that work on a touch screen?  How about flash games that I could link too?

I never spend the money on those things, so I'm not even sure whats on them really.

Any suggestions?

Some of the early Merit touchscreen games are in Mame.  There are alot of games that are good for a touchscreen distributed by Reflexive.  You have to try them out to see how they play but there are plenty of demos available.  There is a list around the forum somewhere with touchscreen games that you can search for.

Touchmaster 8000 is as good as it gets in MAME.  The old megatouch versions in MAME are archaic.  Merit fiercly protects anything newer.   Search for "Megatouch" in the projects forum & check out Paladin's build that uses an original megatouch mobo & key.     I have one running to a little 12" lcd touchscreen monitor on my bar.

I guess i haven't looked in a long time.  There are a bunch of them emulated (enough for her).

Thanks!
