Title: How can I get rid of bad scrolling in MAME?

Do you know how to fix jerky scrolling in MAMEUI32? If I check the "wait for vertical synch" it gets rid of it but then all games run at 97% for some reason.

Running them synced to your refresh rate means they are not running at their original speed. Most games did not run at a nice clean 60Hz, so trying to fit them into that results in frames not lining up (hence jerkiness).

The best solution right now is using special drivers for ATI video cards that alters the refresh rate of your monitor at game runtime, and then syncing it perfectly. Check out the subforum above for more details.
