will it work for DDR pads? Will it be able to handle left and right at the same time?
-
I dont have any ddr pad so no idea.
However,it does work perfectly with dualshock controller.
Has different inputs for analog sticks as well.
Axis is the analog stick and you have more inputs on directional pad.
Directional pad becomes axis when you turn off analog mode.

Do you plan on making a control panel with this? If so hook up two button to the left and right directional. Bring up the game controllers control panel and see if you can push both at the same time.
I ask because many converters don't register up/down and left/right at the same time. That doesn't work then with DDR.

I have the same converter and unfortunatly it doesn't work right with ddr pads. It reconizes the arrows as an axis and not buttons so you can't push two buttons at the same time.

Is there any PSX dance pads that allow configurable buttons?
The four buttons on the face of the could be used for up down left right, while the shoulders buttons could handle the diagonals.
Thus, none of the directional arrows are effectively used so this problem doesn't exist when using it with PC converters.
At worst, you could probably hack this beast of a unit! ;D
