Title: Options for making your own wireless Arcade Stick for PS3
Post by: Essential J-Balls on August 23, 2011, 09:21:53 pm
Just curious what my options are.... the only option I can find is toodles axisadapter but I don't have any controllers that are compatible nor have I had luck finding any.   From everything I've read I'm at a loss for how to build a wireless stick without the axisadapter.  Can I solder wires directly onto the ps3 controller pcb? I've tried searching for a schematic but haven't found one.  I have not yet taken apart a controller to see if the button connections are actually labeled with the name of the button.   Any help on this is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Try and find a used sisaxis controller and take it apart and solder to the points on the pcb.  Get some knar wire 30-32aug for soldering.

I've taken two DualShock's apart to add LEDs, and I can tell you that the PCBs aren't labelled at all.
I'd suggest looking online for a proper schematic. Be careful if you have to reassemble, the Trigger buttons are awkward to get all in and functional.
