I'm using Ultralux pushbuttons with the standard supplied E-Switch microswitches. The combination is a bit stiff for my tastes, but if I take the spring out of the pushbutton and use only the force provided by the microswitch, it feels great.
Does anyone foresee a problem with this setup? I figure the microswitches are subjected to nearly identical forces every time they're pushed with or without the pushbutton spring, so I don't see a problem, but maybe I'm missing something.

I'd try it for a while and see how it goes - see if the buttons still return crisply after some use, etc. even if you wear out a microswitch or two and need to replace them it's a $2 experiment. I would go with an E-switch or even heavier actuating switch for maximum return spring pressure. I came across some cheap used switches in a junk cab that must be over 100g pressure to trip, they're like bricks.
I bet some of the pushbutton experts/dealers like RandyT, Andy Warne and the Paradise guys have experience with this and could say if there's any reason not to do it.

There will be no problem with this. But we dont normally supply these with E-Switches, they come with our own-brand Ultimarc switches. So not sure what has happened here.

My mistake; the buttons did come with Ultimarc branded switches. But that's what I meant by "standard supplied," i.e., the ones that you normally send.
But your website says "New! We now supply E-Switch microswitches with all pushbuttons (Happ-sourced)" so I thought that calling them "standard supplied E-Switch microswitches" was accurate. Is the website description not correct?
In any event, thanks for confirming that I can use them as I described. Great buttons.

The Happ buttons which we sell come with the E-Switches. I will need to correct that on the website as it is misleading.

I might try this as I'm finding them a bit hard.
