I've had one disappear for sure - someone sent me a PM that I never received. I have a couple of others that I suspect disappeared, either my PM never got to the recepient, or their response never got back to me.
Anyone else experience this? :dunno

Did you get what I sent today?
-
Do you get an email alert with your PM's? Do you get an email?
-
@TopJimmyCooks: Yes, I did get one PM from you today, which I responded to, did you get my response?
@Vigo: I do get an email alert when I receive a PM, but TopJimmyCooks sent me a PM about 3 weeks ago, and I never received the PM or the email for that one.
I have a couple others where I expected a response and didn't receive one, and am thinking a similar thing must have happened. :-\

yes, I got your msg and the notification email. haven't had any PM trouble here, fortunately. Why don't you just send $15 to cover shipping/package (and your ship to address if different than on your paypal account) and I will get everything to the post office tomorrow. at that you will make out and I will be covered. Really, there's no way I'm ever going to use the stuff. Damn Pololu's pairs of parts - I guess people don't make many one wheeled robots.

I have not heard of any other concerns about PM's disappearing. Anyone?

Done!

Maybe it was just a random glitch. I confirmed that another message I thought might have gone lost did not, so I only lost 1 for sure, and 2 at most.
I've been using hotmail for over 10 years now and had never had a single problem. Until just a couple weeks ago I used it at work for the first time, and found that only about half my emails were actually getting out. I'd send an email and sometimes it would just vanish. It wouldn't be in my sent box, and the recepient would tell me they never received it. Something to do with a filter at work or some other conflict with something they have running? Who knows? ???
So these weird little things can happen. If no one else complains about this, I'm gonna chalk it up to "random glitch" and forget about it.
