i was looking in groovygame gear and looking at NovaGem™ Lightable Horizontal Pushbutton but not sure if it is concave or convex buttons. when i enlarge the picture, the resolution made it impossible to show clear details.
Are Novagem button is the same as Electric Ice 2 button except the Electric button are solid as for Novagem are clear. isn't that right?

The one big similarity is that they are both sold out.

The mold is going back on the machine today or tomorrow. We are all hoping this will be the last mod to it and production will start.

Thanks! now I have see the picture from Epyx's Alien cabinet (it really cool design). It is exactly the one I want - Novagem.
I have seen Groovy game gear website and they are sold out. Any idea how long will it re-stock again from production?

Just curios to know if production has started on these, I am waiting on a CP to be built with them.

As with many injection parts of this complexity, improvement of one aspect of the tooling has caused another small issue to crop up. The factory (and I) wish to make these the best they can possibly be, so they have re-worked the tool one more time, and believe that the test parts they shoot tomorrow will yield the high quality we both have been working toward, and production (much production) will be able to begin. At that point, the shortages will become a thing of the past, and we can start looking at even more new offerings from the same mold.

 Good Luck with the test parts! It's good to see so much focus on quality.
If you need some manual product testing, I volunteer! ;D

Are we any closer to getting these buttons in production?
