Title: PacMan cab For Sale/Trade in MD
Post by: PacManFan on September 08, 2003, 01:53:24 pm
Hey everyone, yet again, I have buyers remorse. I went to the coinop warehouse in Hagerstown MD. with abrannan  this past weekend and picked up a really nice PacMan cabinet and a few parts. I had plans to restore /convert this machine to a Galaga, however, being the purist that I am, I can't rightly bring myself to convert a PacMan to a Galaga. This cab has been painted black, overall, the cab is in excellent shape. I will include the coin door and control panel, no monitor or marqee.
50$ OBO
or trade for a Galaga cab (any condition)\
I live in Montgomery county, MD.

For those who don't know. Pac-Man and Galaga cabinets are ALMOST identical. The same parts fit either cabinets, but the front swoop is slightly different, and the Pac-Man/Galaxian/Bosconian/Rally-X cabinets are actually a bit more solid than the Ms. Pac/Galaga ones.

One other diferrance is that the PacMan cabinet is 73" tall, the galaga/ms. pac is 69" (I think.)

Also, Rally-X cabs are smaller than pacman cabs.

Really? I have had them side by side and never noticed that. Although maybe one of the cabinets was missing the leg levelers.
