i finally pulled a cab I've had in my shed for a year out this weekend. the interrior had a good amount of mold on it, so I cleaned it up with a little bleach cleaners, and thankfully it was not into the press board and wiped off quickly.
My question is should I seal the inside of my cab to help prevent this ? I was going to spray paint it maybe just with primer for aesthetic reasons, but maybe you guys have a better product or some other ideas?
also while I'm at it:
My cab is painted black with two dataeast decals (on either side) whats the best way to remove the decals so I can begin to sanding/painting/puttying fun?

Sealing it might keep the mold out in the future, but if you're going to have it as regular in-a-room-of-your-house full-time furniture it really shouldn't get moldy again unless you live in a swamp.
If you're going to sand and paint the whole side anyway, i.e. not try to rescue the black paint under the decals, I'd try something with acetone in it. Fingernail polish remover, paint thinner, something along those lines. A heat gun and a scraper might do the trick too.
Good luck!

When your cabinet is in 'normal conditions' ie inside, you shouldn't need to seal anything. Since it was stored outside - albiet being shielded - it's still exposed partially to the elements. Humidity plays a large factor in the mold growing.
As for the decals; either a heat gun and start peeling, or a blow dryer. Use Goo-Gone to remove any residual adhesive.
