hello all -
after taking a 2-month break from working on my cab (err, conrol panel at the moment), i finally got some work done this weekend, and i'm almost ready to paint my CP.. however, i think i've just decided to throw a 4-way stick in there. i've got plenty of room for it, but i was looking for a suggestion as to which stick to get?
also, when i'm ready to wire, do i just wire up the 4-way to the same connectors on my ipac as my 1P joystick??
played ms. pac-man on an 8-way this weekend, and that was the kicker for me. i HAVE to put a 4-way in here now. :) thanks..

I would recommend the Ms. Pacman/Galaga Joystick. Its an awsome 4 way, and Ms. Pacman plays perfect.

Mounting it is tricky because the joystick is made to be mounted on metal. I used an oscar controls mounting plate to mount mine. Some other people just routed the wood to get the proper clearance.
Yes you can just hook to the same 1p inputs on the ipac.

yup. we all have your CC numbers now. i just ordered a years worth of DVD porn for myself and a fwe friends. Thanks!
(on a serious note, you really don't have anything to worry about. I'd be more worried about handing a waiter my credit card at a restraunt)

Thanks for that I haven't really done much ordering on line before and the credit card was my mother in laws lol ( so you can see why I was worried! )

Actually, Happ's page is secure, it doesn't show up as such because of the frames. You can read about it here:
http://www.happcontrols.com/security.html (http://www.happcontrols.com/security.html)
If you launch the page in a new window, the icon will appear. I've verified it. You will have to be logged in first though.

You'll love it. Mounting it to the oscar plate keeps it mounted nice and firm allowing you to juke hard when avoiding ghosts. I think I'd of ripped it right out of the wood by now :)

I really wouldn't worry too much about if a server is "secure" or not. It doesn't matter. Credit card numbers are kept eternally by most places that accept them.
So have you ever stayed at a hotel, bought an airline ticket, or rented a car? If so, then anyone who works there now, or who ever will can pull up your credit card number on demand until the place goes out of business.
So basically, your credit card numbers are NEVER safe, and are always accessable to near minimum wage employees of places you have used it. So hackers snifffing the numbers are probably the last thing you have to worry about.
