   http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=A7V333-XP2200-BULK-R&cat=MBB (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=A7V333-XP2200-BULK-R&cat=MBB)

I added the basic stats below if you dont want to click on the link.

ASUS A7V333 VIA KT333 Socket A ATX Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1.8 GHz processor pre-installed
    Heat Sink and Fan included
    10/100 PCI NIC included
ATI Radeon 7000 32 MB DDR AGP VGA Video Card included w/S-Video TV-Out
    I/O Shield
Supports up to 3 GB DDR333 SDRAM

Its really cheap I just need to put some ram into it, but is this a good enough setup to run MAME.
I cant spend that much so I am looking for the cheapest option, Around $50 for motherboard, processor, ram, video card.  Its going to be for a casual setup so it doesnt need to be super quick,  I just dont want any delay or slow downs while playing.

Thanks

well, that could be a problem....

your best buy is to buy a used off lease dell 3.0ghz type pc. I buy 3.0's with 1gb of ram and 80gb hard drives all the time locally for $50

I found AMD's didnt run MAME as fast as the same speed intel.   Look for old P4 3.0 Ghz machines.  They must be cheap if you can find them.
