you are french speaking?
there are french forums that can help you with this
-
i will guess german since the site the photos where uploaded to is.
if i'm correct:
the "guns" are inside the picture tube. they can't be replaced, but sometimes you can adjust to color to make it stronger.
by your picture, it looks like the red color gun needs to be turned stronger. the others look okay.
it also appears that the brightness needs to be turned lower, that is why it bleeds like that.
google translated quote:

hey, thank you. yes, i am from germany and i live in the near of france(strasbourg is neighbor city), but i cant good speak french. ;D
i think i have a contrast problem too.
If I turn the contrast anything complete, the color goes away than less full blast and its like black and white . With contrast
on max, there is faded color. yes, the bleeds cames from the full contrast.
how can i make the red color gun stronger?
for my question before, witch points is for the rgb colors on the neck board. i want test the tube, if it ok :)

to test the tube you need a special test machine not many people have.
the circuit board on the tube has adjustment for colors. much like the contrast and brightness. they have a part you can grasp with your finger to turn.
when looking at the back of the tube the same as this photo....
the first adjustment on the left is "red" it is printed on the board as "r-drv".
try to turn clockwise the adjustment to make the output of the gun stronger. not too much or all the screen turn red. turn lower (anti-clockwise) if screen turns too red.

thank your, for your answer. ;D
yes i have do it too. but i havent good results.
I want test my tube like http://www.arcaderepairtips.com/2011/03/23/checking-a-monitor-tube/ (http://www.arcaderepairtips.com/2011/03/23/checking-a-monitor-tube/) , but i dont know ,which points on the neckboard is Red, blue and green.
if the tube is not ok, i have a big problem. if that tube is ok, i want to make cap kit. ;)

i have marked the red green and blue... also any black is "ground" as well as the metal frame of the monitor.
be warned the gray colored point is high voltage and should not be touched. i show because it is close to the red and green color points.
-
thank you, that is what i need, your the best ;D
i think my tube is ok :applaud:
you can see on the photos
Blue
(http://www.abload.de/thumb/blue0jzd.jpg) (http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=blue0jzd.jpg)

wells gardner makes a "cap kit" with all the capacitors you need... it's part number is "S-KIT CAP-U50"
it is available here: http://www.wellsgardner.com/products/details.asp?iCat=4&iSubCat=45 (http://www.wellsgardner.com/products/details.asp?iCat=4&iSubCat=45)
it's cost is 35 us dollars and it may be expensive to ship to your country. you may find it cheaper to buy the capacitors yourself locally. all the caps you need to replace are included.
it's not hard to put them together yourself, all the larger cylinder shaped "electrolytic" capacitors need to be replaced. just write them all down and make up a list. i don't usually worry about the small ones. you should replace the 6 capacitors on the neck board for sure.
another option is to use the list from mouser... this is the "k7400/k7500" kit they are the same as the "u2000/u5000" monitors (CREDITS to smalltownguy for putting the mouser list together here)
http://www.mouser.com:80/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=66CFEEEB31 (http://www.mouser.com:80/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=66CFEEEB31)
not sure how much shipping to your country would be, but it might be bad too.
the project list has the number of each kind you need... so feel free to copy.
NOTE: some of the caps in the list have been upgraded in voltage. (35 volts instead of 25 volts) this is okay.

hey, thank your for all. :notworthy:
