I don’t know how I missed it, but I recently discovered the 2009 Brendan O'Brien remix version of the Classic Pearl Jam album “Ten.”
I am a big fan of the original CD, and I also like this remix version.
I’m no audiophile but the remix sounds cleaner. Vedder's voice and the instruments sound clearer. What do you all think?
Love it? Hate it?

Never heard it, but the original is still a classic.

"brother" turned out really good with the addition of the lyrics

Pearl Jam is my favorite band of all time. I love the 2009 remastered Ten album. The production is just way better than the original. It's not nearly as noticeable with the new Vs./Vitalogy release but that set had way better bonuses (demos and alternate versions of songs from the era and an awesome live show).
I'm a little bummed out by the way they are going about this though - I'd prefer multiple-disc sets - one disc of the remastered original album with no extra content and a bonus disc (or two) compiling ALL of the b-sides, soundtrack releases, demos from that specific era plus an extra disc of a landmark show from that era. They supposedly have a HUGE vault of unreleased stuff and ALL of their shows recorded from the soundboard so it's out there. Still, any new PJ stuff is a good thing, IMO, and they are eventually giving every album this treatment (I can't wait for the Binaural set).
