Hi there. New here! ;D
I just bought a Tekken Tag arcade and I could have sworn the day I got it, it would say "Credit #" on the main menu and during gameplay above the health bar. Now it says "Service #" on the main menu at the bottom and alternates between PRESS P2 START and SERVICE # during the game instead. Every time I hit the credit button, it just adds a number next to Service, but I've checked out other Tekken Tag machines and I know for a fact that it's supposed to say "Credit". Here's the only video I could find on youtube where someone else's menu says SERVICE along with an image from my machine. Please help!

Have you checked your switches? I never used a tekken tag before, but it looks like there is a separate service switch, could it be that the switch is left on?
-
Yeah I made sure. The only thing I ever touched was the option switch position 1 to ON to allow me to fix the picture size, but after that I put it back and double checked to make sure both switch 1 & 2 were set to OFF...

The button or switch you are pressing for credits is wired to the "service credit" switch.
Credits that are added using this switch will show up as service # on screen.
Service credit switch is used by the technician when repairing or testing the game so the coin meters won't advance the count.

OK thanks. Is there anything I can hit to add normal Credits without using coins?

Wire a button to one of the normal coin switch lines

Cool, thanks! ;)
