Title: APB my first restore...help needed
Post by: urgeboy on July 22, 2011, 12:17:25 pm
Ok...So I already have a MAME machine, but like a crack addict, it's just not enough. So I found an APB machine on Craig's list. Everything seemed fine for a little while, I had it home and it was working. Then one minute the monitor is working fine (although a little dim) the next blank, nothing. I checked the fuse in the monitor and it seems fine. So where to go from here? I've gotten a few suggestions such as check the AC voltage on the power supply but I'm not quite sure how to do that. Comment's, ideas, anything anyone?

ok.....after a small electrical fire I have learned what NOT to do...fried the lines going from the AC chord into the power supply in the process...
