Title: Project 64 scrunched up on the top half of the screen
Post by: Hitek on July 22, 2011, 03:04:37 am
Howdy yall,
I'm in the process of adding Project 64 to my arcade machine, and I have the hacked exe that allows for esc key exiting and everything is set up fine under mala except when I launch a game from  mala, the game launches scrunched up on the top half of the monitor, and the bottom half is black. It's not cutting it off, it's actually squishing the entire game up on the top half of the monitor, and this tends to look really funky on a 50" plasma. When I launch games through the command line outside of mala, they launch fine and there is no scrunching.
I'm using Mala 1.74 and Project 64 1.6 hacked.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Keith

I use a 42" TV with same executables like you (mala 1.74 & project 64 hacked exe) and it works perfect in my configuration.

on project 64, i use the plugin: Jabo´s Direct3D8 1.6

On mala "Other emu config" select your nintendo 64 emu,and in tab named "Execution" i use this:
%path%\%rom%.%ext%

Try this and say if worked. (I use Windows 7)

Actually, I was using Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 as well, but switching it to Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2 got it displaying properly.

Thanks for the help.
