Title: PC Works OK, Install ArcadeVga, it no longer boots
Post by: JackTucky on July 12, 2011, 03:15:45 am
I'm using the PCI Express version.  I'm connected to a regular PC monitor using the DVI port.

PC isn't even reachable via VNC so it's not booting into windows, again nothing on screen.  Any suggestions?

I also tried booting it up attached to the WG monitor I have in the cabinet, I never see anything on there either.

do you have a speaker in the computer?

is it posting? IE: does it beep indicating the POST has passed? if not maybe you have a bum card.

no beep.  I'm figuring it's a bum card.  Ordered another one but now I have to wait.

Try rebooting in safe mode and see if it boots.  It may be trying to use the stock ATI driver and you may need to remove that driver.   Also, set your resolution down to 640x480 or lower.
