Not sure if this is the right place to post this but anywho... I built an arcade stick to use with my neo geo and then built an adapter so I could use it with my megadrive by hacking a controller and wiring it to a 15 pin dsub I can plug my stick into. Thing is, the megadrive pad uses very skinny wire and I used an old dsub monitor cable for the arcade stick which has 28 guage wire in it at best. Recently, i've been playing a lot of streetfighter on the megadrive and ive been noticing that a lot of times I can't hit moves propperly. I was wondering if maybe the megadrive isn't getting the right signals because of volt drop due to the skinny wires? Course I could just suck at the game but it does seem very mushy and unresponsive..
