Hi Guys,
I have an Ultimarc Arcade VGA graphics card which I am really struggling to install.
I am trying to install it on my:
System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Computer: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ 2.25 Ghz, 2 GB of Ram
I have the AVGA Version 2
I have got the drivers from Ultimarc site and have followed the guide on the site for installation and have used the ATI removal utility. When the computer discovered new hardware I cancelled the windows install and selected the AVGA install from the drivers folder including quick res program.
It all installs resets and when it loads up it hasnt worked it will only display 640 x 480 pixels 4 bit colour quality and wont allow me to alter this. The quick res list is very sparce with 4 options none or which work when selected. I updated the bios to the latest version but this did not alter the problem.
Have any of you guys come across this problem? and maybe offer a solution?
Many thanks
Mark
