Title: My Custom Marquee WIP
Post by: Coolin on July 09, 2011, 02:17:55 pm
Well I decided to take a few hours out of my slim cabinet build to design my own custom marquee which I have Titled as the not so original MultiCade. However this may change to UltraCade, Megacade or as its being built for a mate personalising it as in Jamies CoinMuncher (his idea)! either way as I said it is a WIP and any constructive criticism or naming ideas are welcomed.

Not bad at all.  Lots of nice classics in there but personally, I'm not fond of the rainbow.  Of the names: CoinMuncher is a pretty good one!

thanks for the feedback :)
Yep you guessed it im a big classics fan and the rainbow hankers to rainbow islands (big fan). I have tried a sunburst and numerous other gradient backdrops (easy to do with illustrator) but we settled with this for the time being.

I will try a temp print off on the cab this week and see how it looks before any alterations.

Looking good, one thing though, the letters are close to the edge, dont forget the marquee retainer will block some of the image, so maybe move the lettering a bit further up

Ah, Rainbow Islands.  I didn't make that connection.
