Hi
I'm planning to buy a Carnevil shooter game, but the size of the cab is a stopper for me. I will like to have it fit in a smaller cab...
so what the smallest cab I can search for to fit a 25" monitor for a shooter game purpose?
Thank's Gino

Assuming you're using a 4:3 monitor and not a gawd-awful 16:9 unit, you can expect the display area of a 25" diagonal monitor to be 20" wide. The 4:3 monitor follows the 3-4-5 right triangle ratios. Add a couple of inches for mounting hardware and deadspace, and you can expect the monitor to be 23-24" wide overall. There's a 25" Suzo-Happ monitor that's 23" overall.

I've got a Gals Panic II cab that's just about 23.5" between the sides, but it appears to be a conversion from a previous game. I haven't figured out what it used to be. Something to be wary of when buying a used cab - many have lived previous lives.

Williams cabs (Joust, Defender, etc) can have a 25" shoehorned into them. Used to be fairly common to see Area 51 kits in old WMS cabs with 25" monitors.

Ive got a Point Blank cabinet and its only 680mm wide from side to side, the cabinet itself is pretty bulky though, ive got a 25" CRT inside it that just fits.
