Yesterday I recieved my Tornado USB spinner, but I can't seem to get the thing working with my Mame games...
The spinner is correctly recognized by Windows XP as a mouse (Y-axle) and Maximus Arcade also uses the spinner (I can browse through games). Since I'm running Maximus Arcade with the DOS command line version of Mame, I can't seem to get the thing working in Mame itself.
How can I pull this off?

have you enabled mouse input in the mame ini?

Add -mouse to the command line parameters in the MA preferences for the MAME emulator.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try that out next week, when I have a couple of days to fiddle around in the game room ;D

This did the trick, AND changing the axis of the spinner from Y to X. Works like a charm now, Tempest here I come! :applaud:
