So I finally had some time to work on the MKII cabinet and the monitor still has 2 issues:
- The monitor does not fill the screen horizontally. I have some static black borders that I can't fill
- When I select some games, the VSync is off. If I fix the Vsync for that game, the other games Vsync is off
Is this something simple or does anyone have an idea what the problem is? I'm using a ArcadeVGA and my default res is 640x480. I followed the instructions on Ultimarcs website and made the changes to my MAME.INI that I need to. Attached are some pics of the monitors black bars. The black bars are on the left and right and are equal in size.

You've adjusted the H-width?

You've adjusted the H-width?
As far as I can tell, there isn't a H-width. :dunno
There is a little white control panel for monitor controls and H-width isn't on it.

Have you looked elsewhere on the chassis? Sometimes all the controls aren't all together in one spot...

What model of monitor are you using? Is there a manual? There may be a combo of buttons or a "service mode" to adjust H-width?

Haruman hit it on the head. There is a monitor width adjustment coil I need to tweak. You can read more about it here:
