Title: Issue with scalable layouts: game list doesn't line up

After putting this project aside for a while I've been back on it try'n to get everything right. The main issue I have right now is with scalable layouts when used at less than 640x480. I've settled on a res of 368x240...that is the most flicker-free res I've found that still maintains best image clarity. But...the gamelist doesn't line up (nor does the screenshot or marquee pix). The selected game is highlighted, but its a "line" below the box it should be in. So the next title up ends up in the selected game box. It can be confusing for someone who doesn't know whats goin' on.

Is that just the way it goes with the scalable layouts or is there something that can be done to fix it?

BTW, the "stormrider" layout behaves itself, but I just don't care for it. 5 viewable titles at a time is just not enough. 'Specially when ya have a bazillion games to sift thru.

Perhaps you could provide more into as to what frontend you are using?

I found that many of the Mala layouts did not work for me.  I think it is because I am using a wide screen monitor and the scalable layouts were designed for 4:3.   Not 100% sure but did not pursue it any further.

Forget it. Got it figger'd out. Turns out only *certain* layouts will work at that low of a res. The ones Swindus did worked great. Guess I might hafta study up on how to create a layout so I can get exactly what I want.

Yes, it can take a little playing with. Also, keep in mind the 'keep aspect ratio of pictures' in GUI>options. By the way, you might get more response on this in the Mala forum.

"Keep aspect ratio" was selected. I didn't try it the other way. I think I might play around with editing Swindus' "racing"  layout. It doesn't display marquee images....
