so you dont post build info at all, just a link to your ebay page to generate sales.. lame!
Edit: Thanks, big pet eave of mine when people only bother posting to try to sell stuff I actually love the GBA SP, I've collected 5 of the bright screen ones. Its a shame your mod ruins the unit, and you cant remove it to play as normal.
If you want to make a mobile game station, i suggest basing it on something that runs MAME. Lots of open handhelds that do. GPX series etc...
Also, do you love bongo drums?

Pretty crazy! how does it feel playing with your arms so far apart?
-
Hey lets make a portable not portable and more uncomfortable to play! Good job!
-
Step 1: Make awkward game boy arcade pad
Step 2: Hide awkwardness by not showing anyone playing it in the utube vid
Step 3: Link to ebay selling page
Step 4: Profit

Ebay link removed.
My Apologies

I am not sure what the appeal for this mod would be. ??? ??? Maybe it is me but regular arcade controls and tiny screen do not seem to match. Can you output to larger screen from the GB?
-
Here is another theme we just finished, the "General E. Lee"
-
Do you have any construction pictures?
-
you should have built one of these for the 3ds it has a bigger screen and street fighter 4
-
Yeah, the craftmanship is great, but I also fail to see how this might be in any way useful.
-
I think it looks awesome! I don't know how much I'd use it but I still want to own it! Maybe I could use it in the bath? Anyway, congrats for creating something truly unique!
-
The problem though is it ruins the GBA SP. Why not leave the buttons on, and make an attachment port so you can disconnect it and still use it as a GBA? That's the big fail for me.

Yeah, but in all fairness, you can get a gba sp for $20-$30 used.

The AGS-101s go for more than that, cheapest I found was 40ish. But ya, its not a huge expense, but a waste IMO. My fav handheld system of all time...

Yeah, I am quoting the ones from ebay of questionable quality. The tested ones from gamestop will be around $40ish. I really likes that handheld as well.

Haha I must have missed the thing about making the GBA useless as a handheld. Lol this thing should win an award for most useless luxurious geek gadget of the year...

This would be better if you could take off the SP, so it can be portable too, just a suggestion...
