Title: Accurately emulating Neo Geo games
Post by: daskrabs on June 30, 2011, 09:24:17 am
I wrote a blog post about my trials and tribulations building and configuring a Neo Geo MVS bartop. After about 8 months, I am finally confident that I have an arcade-accurate emulation machine. If you're trying to emulate Neo games like this, you may find this post helpful.

Why didn't you just get an MVS motherboard and a 110 in 1 cartridge??

Two reasons. First, when I built the thing, I was much more comfortable working with PC's than arcade boards. Second, the XXX-in-1 boards are half crappy hacks and bootlegs and I wanted to play all of the games. Some significant titles are missing from even the newest multi-carts.
