Title: Tinted Plexi, Lexan, Etc for LCD
Post by: Scott84 on June 29, 2011, 01:40:35 pm
After messing around with my bartop project trying Bezels.... I did not like the look.

I have seen some nice tinted plexi's on some machines on here.

I was wondering if there was a tint that was dark enough where you can't see the inside of the machine but the LCD Computer monitor would still shine through with a nice clean picture?

Any help would be appreciated!

14-20% if the cabinet is sealed and no light is leaking in from the back looks nice.  THat is what i have on my build

Whats darker the 14% or the 20%? I will have zero night coming in through the back, or anywhere else on the bar top.

Thanks for replying.

14 is darker.  the higher the percent, the more the light let through

5 is "limo tint"

Someone had written in some threads about Greylite (yes I did do a search before hand).

Greylite #14? Is that what I should ask for?
