Title: Donkey Kong Replacement Monitor
Post by: ted429 on June 26, 2011, 10:08:00 am
I am working on restoring a DK machine and I have done some reading about 19" CRTs disappearing and I am thinking about buying a Kotek and converting to JAMMA wiring and keeping the sanyo as a back up. Just wondering if this is a good idea I just don't want to be stuck with LCD in my DK 5 years from now.

I'd just repair/use the Sanyo. It will outlast and look better for many years to come.

Yea those Sanyo monitors really look nice when properly tuned up. I gave my last one away some years ago. I shoulda kept it....

Maybe I should be looking for a working sanyo for a backup! Lol
