Title: cab bottom support

Finally time to make the actual cabinet (then, it'll have taken a year, but I'm done!)  Going to use casters and a frame for the cab (for ease of construction)-- building the base first-- how did everyone support their base and therefore the rest of their cabswith casters/wood layout, etc?  I'm looking at 2x4's and MDF now, but not sure if there's a physically best way of supporting the weight on the base.  Yes, I know, put the casters on the bottom.

That would probably be fine.  I made a rectangular box with no top, and then attached the cabinet sides to the box with the open top facing down.
