I saw the Nanocade layout lists the joystick and buttons needed to play a particular game when you highlight it. See the picture towards the bottom of the page here.

Are there other layouts that have the same feature?

This info can be added to any layout in malalayout
-
I wish I had the skill to do that. Can you list the ones that do already?
-
RetroGUI for Mala appears to do it.

Thanks....that's one. Too bad it is only 640x480.
I suppose I need to look into doing one myself. I have no skills though.
Maybe I could modify the Nanocade one, because I like the layout, but just change the graphics. I'd also love 1024x768.
Anybody willing to whip something up for me for a small fee?

Sorry my english not is good...
start malalayout.exe, open your layout, go to object and add text...
You have new frame in layout, click button dx up this new frame, choose properties and go to pattern, click in the cascade menu and choose game:
button show the button use in the game
players show the number of player for this game
now go to controls and choose control:
show the control need for this game
