If you've always wanted to recreate "The Arena" (I think that's what they called it)
just buy one of these machines for $8,500 and convert it!
...or wait for parts to become available.

Oh! Make the joysticks bigger!! Thats a better idea. I've been working on a shrink ray to make people smaller so the joystick feels like it did when you were a little kid.
As a side bonus, you could shrink your wife.

I'm not going anywhere near that one.

You mean those aren't regular joysticks and a really tiny screen?
-
There's not much of a playfield for that Tetris. No room to really play.

That's an equation for a hole punched through the screen in less than 10 minutes.

Why is one joystick shorter than the other?

Hey this settles the whole dust washer- over or under cp argument. Sega puts them over the cp. ;D

They only did that so you don't fall in.

Looks like hand sensors and the joysticks don't move....

So if you're short, you can still play.
Can't be missing out on potential plays when you've got $8500 to recover.
-
put a decent throw on them babies with a stiff spring and you could sell the bowflex or cancel the gym membership.

No, the joysticks actually do move. You can see it in the video.
-
So who is going to be the first person to put one of these on a Mame cabinet with start, escape, and 6 play buttons integrated into the joystick ball? :laugh2:

Go to the Namco Wonder Tower in Kyoto & play to your heart's content!

I just saw this yesterday at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. I didn't play it, but I did move the joysticks. Plus, they move on there own when the game is in demo mode.

There never really was an argument :)

I can just see the headlines.... Man knocked unconscious while loitering in arcade when game comes to life.
