Title: Cherry Master
Post by: crimedog71 on September 02, 2003, 01:17:24 am
To All:

In need of some help. Does anyone out here in arcade control land know anything about cherry masters or know of anyone who does? I am asking this because I will be buying 4 machines in non-working order in the next week and looking for some documentation on them. Things like wiring, power supplies and etc...(manuals of any kind....game or repair) I would appreciate any help that I may receive.

Thanks Don

Ok, most grey market gambling games use a non-jamma harness called the 8-liner harness. It has the pins really close together.

They use the same monitors as standard arcade games, although some have touch screens as well.

The one I had came with a linear power supply, but they can use either one.

I am sure you should be able to get a wiring diagram somewhere for one of them.

Personally, I think the only thing Cherry Master cabinets are good for is to refit for mame or JAMMA. If you have some good monitors in the batch, then I would sell off the boardsets and wiring harnesses and use the proceeds to JAMMAtize them.
