I'm having no luck finding a local store that carries 1/8" LEXAN.
Lowes, Menards and Home Depot = no luck.
All I can find is .080" and .093" in 36x48 or 36x24 sizes.
I bought a small piece of .080" LEXAN to practice drilling and cutting. When I place it on my 5/8" control panel wood it is SOOOO close to 3/4"
but not quite enough. ???
Any suggestions for finding 1/8" ?

The .093 would be closer to 1/8" than the .08.

If you don't mind online versus local, there are many vendors:
eStreetPlastics (http://www.estreetplastics.com/)
Tap Plastics (http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/category.php?bid=24&)
Interstate Plastics (http://www.interstateplastics.com/index.php)
Delvies Plastics (http://www.delviesplastics.com/)
You also get more choices there for type (polycarbonate, acrylic), colors, tints, etc. For local supplier you might try to locate a professional sign shop and ask if there are local suppliers or if they would sell you something directly.

lowes here in tx have 36 x 72 sheets of 1/8 (.125 i think it is?) for $49.99. sucks yours doesnt! estreetplastics is good, used them many times for 1/4" stuff

The Lowes here in MO also has 1/8'' lexan, so you may want to check with customer service and see if they can get it in. Sometimes it just means they need to contact their main warehouse/distributor to get it in, especially if other stores carry it.
Good luck.

That would be pretty cheap for LEXAN.
Here is .093 on Lowe's Website

That link came up well over $400 then dropped to $157 after I entered my zip code. What a difference location makes.

If Lowes in one area has it, you may very well be able to get at a Lowes local to you through special order. Or amybe you can order it on their website and have delivered to store.
Is it a problem using the .080 because the t-molding would stick out a bit, because you could trim it flush with a sharp chisel.

what town is your local Lowe's store in? I may have a contact there that can make a call to the vendor that sells them Lexan.
