Title: Spintrak does not work under XP, mouse slowly keeps moving left

I have a Spintrak on a modern Minipac (the relabeled UHID version), and when I boot Windows XP, the trackball works, but moving the Spintrak results in the cursor slowly moving left. What can be the problem?
