Ok, I can't take the problems with old chassis' anymore, it never ends
well for me. I'll take it outside and light a match to it and dance around it.
I can spend my whole life changing caps, then something else goes wrong.
I can see that a new chassis is about 65USD, and frankly, the time spent
on changing caps and maybe needing to buy transistors and maybe a flyback....
I understand that the Wei-ya model 1220H will work as a replacement, so I have two
questions :) Just to be sure I have a picture of my chassis here: http://www.1080p.dk/hanty1.JPG (http://www.1080p.dk/hanty1.JPG)
1. The tube has the strange plug that the neck board goes over, the one without free pins.
How does this work with the Wei Ya?
2. Where can I buy Wei-ya? In Europe if possible
Thanks!
Nicholas ;D

why not just sling in a mtc9000 or polo-same yoke connector
-
Hey Grantspain!
Do those have the same neckboard as the 900E? Without free pins on the end of the tube?
Thanks,
Nicholas

It looks like it doesn't :(

You can swap the neck sockets over, which you will also have to do if you buy a Wei-ya.

So the sockets on the neckboards are built the same way? Awesome!
Thanks!
So, where can I get a Polo/9000? ;D
