Title: touchscreen monitor help

I want to make a touch screen jukebox.  I have a sharp image vga touchscreen that i want to use.   
My problem is when i turn the computer on the startup screen shows up great but when it gets past the start up screen it goes all out of sync.   Is this a setting on the computer and what do i have to do to fix it?

reboot and tap F8 and see if enabling VGA mode makes a difference

I got it figured out.  had to change the settings manualy.
