Title: GroovyGameGear store is back online
Post by: RandyT on May 18, 2011, 01:04:07 pm
About 8pm last night, our ISP decided to do us a "favor" and move our store to their new, faster servers (without warning us).  That would have been great, except that they did not have a number of the settings on their new servers set the same way they were on the old one, and it broke the store.  Long story short, after about 6 hours of hunting and tweaking on both ends, the GGG store (http://www.groovygamegear.com) is back up now on the faster server, and ready for orders again.  If something doesn't work right for some reason, please let me know.

Much apologies for the inconvenience.

Looks like we're only at 95%.  Everything is working fine (orders are being received, and order status can still be checked through your accounts at the store) but we still aren't getting store generated emails, so anything sent through it will probably not make it to me.

If anyone has any questions about anything, please send it to the email address associated with my account here.  I'll update this thread when the mail function is fixed.

Thanks,
RandyT

For some reason, the store says it's out of Novagem buttons still. Obviously this is some kind of mistake...

They are threatening to run them in the morning.  Fingers crossed!  :)

Hopefully the last update:  The store is now sending emails like it should.  If anyone has sent anything through the contact page at the store in the last 24 hours, please send it again.

Apologies once again for the inconvenience.

We have had the parts and plans in-house for rotary sticks for a while now, but we have a few things in the pipeline that need to come out first.  HAPP has a couple of decent options there (mechanical and optical), so I wouldn't want you to put your project on hold.  But thanks for asking!  :)
