My neighbors just set a disassembled ping pong table out by the curb for trash pickup.
It's made up of four 2'x5' sections of 5/8" mdf with a blue finish on one side. (yes I went and looked at it that close)
I have some black 5/8" T-molding, an old computer/monitor that I want to get rid of and plenty of controls..........
I keep staring out the window at it thinking....I could put together a cabaret, it won't me take long or cost me anything..... ???
must resist........

Resistance is futile.

He can't hear you. He's already outside dragging his victim into the garage. Saw blades are spinning up.

You nailed that one, except that I couldn't saw anything because I had other unfinished projects on top the table saw.
The ping pong table sections are now in my shed. :'(
(along with a tempered glass "bezel" out of a tv stand that was also at the curb)

There will be a build thread, although I'm not sure when.
I've had the computer and arcade parts laying around forever and thought about attempting to do a shoddy build start to finish in one day...more or less just to get rid of everything. I think this will be it.
I'm thinking of calling it the crap-cade or recyclade....or possibly getting some figurines and doing a tribute to epic fail guy.
The plastic edging looks like marquee retainer to me!

This was like the other night for me, when I went out to the trash. I didn't have to, it wasn't smelly trash and could've waited, but decided to do anyways. And found two 24"x about 6' pieces of 1/2" MDF, almost pristine.
Funny, because I'm in the middle of a project, and I was thinking exactly of getting a sheet of 1/2. Of course, I blew some of it on mistakes, but still.
