Not harping, but gaming only has 1 'm'.

I dunno.. maybe ditch the 'Central Gaming Unit' thing altogether..?  Maybe leave the logo, but save the mouthful for the marquee :/

Well kspiff, I just checked the dictionary, it says you can spell either way. Funny thing, I always thought spelling it with one 1 "m" was the wrong way. Didn't know you could spell it 2 ways. Well yeah also you are probably right about the text. It's not really eyecatching or anything, it also fades the art in the bkg. Thanx.

Have you tried to use the blur filter on the lettering..?  I might lighten it up and blend it in the background better.  I really like the art work on it though. very nice

I'd actually spell it with just one M, too - everywhere I've ever seen gaming it's with one M. I believe gamming is something completely different (and pronounced differently). Heh - dictionary.com calls it 'social intercourse' (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=gamming).  :D

Other than that - I think the characters look good.  I'd mess with the font color some more.

Ugh.....  I never thought me of all people would have to give an english lesson.  

Gaming= the act of playing a game.

Gamming(pronounced like gams)=the act of talking


Gamming it up is what two old bittys would do.  They would be gamming about the latest gossip.  

That concludes our lesson for today.  I hope you kids took notes there will be a test next tuesday.  :)

p.s.
Social intercourse is a smart way of saying interacting with people at a socially acceptable level.  In other words talking and gossiping ect...  You guys disgust me sometimes.  

So dude you need to change the spelling, or else someone with a decent level of education is really going to make fun of that slogan. ;)

Artwork looks great though.  Personally I would ditch the text all together.  I've never seen a real arcade cpo with that much text on it.  At the most they have the logo to the game in the center, which might just happen to have text on it.  Also the logo is usually much smaller than that.  Remember, you want the cpo to blend in a little so it isn't distracting from gameplay.  Your marquee and sideart are the pieces that are supposed to be the attention getters.

Thnaks for the info Howard, Looks like my damn art is gonna be "gamming" it up for a while. Yeah, now I really wanna change it. 2 old bittys?! Now the intercourse part doesn't even sound good. I can't get the pic of 2 old bittys goin at it in the sac out of my head, AHHH!!! ;D. Thanx.

But as Howard said, you are wrong with the two m's. It's not two separate acceptable spellings, they are completely different words. You want gaMing

Nice one Apollo, don't worry, I'm not gay. Also, last night I whipped together a Marquee that is an all girl Marquee. Yeah it has a CvS2 theme. I will up it later today. Thanx.

but then you would have to have all the Japanese pr0n games loaded on it :)
